Ryan Pearl Football Comdedy Shoot

You may remember Grant the comedian whose fun headshots I took this spring? Well, he is planning a really cool nationwide football themed comedy competition with the dazzling Miss Natasha Pearl Hansen. Please note, her initials are the same as Neil Patrick Harris. I'm pretty sure that makes her automatically awesome. A couple weeks ago we went out to Lincoln Park to do a promo shoot for them, and these are just a few of my favorites from the afternoon!

Remy and Alex: Chicago Engagement Sneak Peek

I had so much fun with Remy and Alex this weekend taking they're engagement pictures. We started at Union Station (possible the most gorgeous building downtown), ventured by the river, through the financial district, and then made our way up to Grosse Point Lighthouse in Evanston. I am so excited for their wedding in August!

Remember Simon and Jacqui? Very exciting news...I finally have their wedding pictures edited! Do you pin? I am addicted to pinterest. I absolutely adore it for saving inspirational pictures, ideas, recipes, you name it! I've recently starting building a really important board though... for my rebranding! Yes, you read it here first. I will be working with Ravyn from 315 design to rebrand and transition to Showit. I've been reading a lot recently about blogging like it's my job. Today is a busy day so you're going to have to wait to see new pictures...but I leave you with this. Let's ignore the fact that they're demoing with Nikon and that it's $309. It's just gorgeous. Oh sweet bag lust Thursday.

Emily and Tom are Married!

Last weekend we were in my hometown for my childhood friend Emily's wedding! We were so lucky to attend the wedding as guests, but as you know me of course I brought my camera and 35mm along :-) She had SO MANY incredible details surrounding her vintage travel theme, I just have to share a few of them with you!

They got married at the Grainary in New Harmony, such a cool building.






She found vintage suitcases to hold the AMAZING programs she DIY-ed that look like luggage tags!



We all know I LOVE a tree of the guests thumbprints!



This was SUCH a cool idea that I haven't seen before. They had a table of pictures of all of their older relatives at their weddings. Talk about vintage beauty, it was incredible!



More cute hat luggage boxes for cards! So sweet.



Emily's beautiful sister Laura with their dad Charles! And on the right are location cards that were on each table at the reception with a place highlighted and then stories on the back of their visits to fun places!

Two of my favorite details were saved for the end! We threw paper airplanes at them as a grand exit! Annnnd they gave us awesome spice packets as favors to share in their love of cooking. Seriously, she is genius.
